Although COVID-19 brought it all to an abrupt, heartbreaking end, we couldn’t be more thankful for the experiences this SO season brought. With the competition season behind us, we wanted to share our gratitude by highlighting the people who made our experiences possible.

Last weekend, TJSO attended the Science Olympiad at UPenn (SOUP) invitational and placed 4th overall with rescorings. Big congratulations to our team!!! Special thanks to our parent chaperones/drivers for supporting us throughout the trip, and thanks to SOUP for a wonderful tournament experience.

Congratulations to our team for an amazing showing this weekend! TJSO placed 1st overall at the University of Mary Washington Regional Tournament, with individual teams taking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Many thanks to UMW and VASO for a well-run tournament, and special thanks to our wonderful coach and parents for coming and supporting us throughout the day. TJSO will be advancing to States, to be held on March 28 at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.

Congratulations to our team for a great performance this weekend! TJ placed 4th overall in the 2nd annual Carnegie Mellon University invitational, with our individual teams placing 4th, 5th, and 6th. Thank you to the CMU Science Olympiad team and our competitors for a wonderful tournament experience, and special thanks to our terrific sponsor and chaperones for accompanying us on the trip. Onwards to regionals!
